Donald Trump’s campaign adviser Alex Bruesewitz recently collapsed while making a speech at the Republican Gala, which sparked worries about his health among the crowd present. Bruesewitz was an essential part of Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and is also a close pal of the US president-elect’s son, Donald Trump Jr.
Here is all the information regarding what happened to Alex Bruesewitz and what statement he gave after the incident.
What happened to Alex Bruesewitz?
Alex Bruesewitz fainted while he was standing at the podium on stage at the Young Republicans Club Gala, which was recently held in New York.
Bruesewitz also appeared to slur the words, “I’m forgetting my words,” in the video clip that went viral. He then crashed on the stage, prompting people present in the room to rush toward him. Jack Posobiec, who is a political activist and was present at the event, gave an update on Bruesewitz’s health.
Posobiec revealed in a post on X (formerly Twitter), “He is getting checked out by medical after having a brief fainting spell onstage. All levels are normal. He’ll be just fine.” He further disclosed that the first thing that Bruesewitz asked after fainting was if he looked cool.
As per the New York Post, Donald Trump himself reacted to Bruesewitz’s fall and said on a call, “I know that Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun. There’s no doubt about that. So I want to say hello to Alex, because he’s a very special guy.”
Additionally, Alex Bruesewitz talked about his health in an X post and thanked those who helped him after he fainted. He wrote, “I want to express my deepest gratitude to the exceptional medical team at New York Presbyterian Hospital. The EMTs, nurses, and doctors provided me with outstanding care. Secondly, I am incredibly thankful to all the great patriots at the @NYYRC gala who swiftly came to my aid.”
