Why Fans Think Home Alone 3: Kevin’s Revenge Sequel Is Real

A seemingly new poster for Home Alone 3 has generated excitement among fans, sparking rumors about the return of Macaulay Culkin‘s iconic character Kevin. Titled Home Alone 3: Kevin’s Revenge, the poster has been the subject of discussion among fans on social media.

Without further ado, let’s find out if the poster is real or fake.

Is the Home Alone 3: Kevin’s Revenge movie’s poster real or fake?

Home Alone 3: Kevin’s Revenge movie’s sequel poster is fake and appears to be a fan-made creation.

A recent Facebook post has sparked quite a buzz about a new sequel to Home Alone titled Home Alone 3: Kevin’s Revenge, featuring Macaulay Culkin reprising his famous role. The poster shows an adult Kevin McCallister wielding a makeshift weapon in front of a house that appears to be partially wrecked. Just a quick look at it makes it clear that this poster is not real, as Culkin and the other actors seem to be photoshopped in front of the burning house.

It seems that this poster is a fan creation. The project hasn’t received official approval and isn’t in production. So far, we only know of two Home Alone movies that features Culkin, and there are no new ones in development at the moment.

Will Macaulay Culkin or Cathrine O’Hara return for Home Alone 3?

There is no confirmation that Macaulay Culkin or Catherine O’Hara will reprise their roles in another Home Alone film. If there were any plans in the works, the production team or creators would likely have shared updates with the media. But there have been no announcements so far.

On the other hand, Culkin did pay homage to his iconic role as Kevin McCallister in a Google Assistant advertisement back in 2018. Additionally, as reported by Deadline, Ryan Reynolds was once involved in producing a new project titled Stone Alone. It aimed to focus on an adult Kevin McCallister. But that project didn’t take off.

As far as Catherine O’Hara is concerned, she doesn’t seem to have any plans to return to a potential sequel. She did appear in a Chase Bank commercial with Kevin Hart, where she was still on the hunt for Kevin, just like always.

Recently, there was an event held in Connecticut called “A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin,” where Culkin participated in a screening of the original movie followed by a Q&A session with audiences.
