Here is a detailed article on what Reynolds exactly said about Swift.
Ryan Reynolds shares what he wishes for Taylor Swift
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Reynolds reflected on his bond with Hugh Jackman and their upcoming project, Boy Band. He initially opened up about working on a new project currently about aging artists. However, he is strategically planning the “smartest way” to put his project out there.
The interviewer later asked him if Swift’s Eras tour concerts would help with research, to which he replied, “Research? There’s no comp for that. It’s a thing to witness. I told Taylor a while ago that I wish she had the opportunity to watch herself from the audience, even for a moment.”
Additionally, Levy, who directed the MCU film, will be returning to produce this new project. He also revealed that he is currently on his “second draft.” Writer Jesse Andrews helped him in writing the first draft.
Describing the story’s premise in brief, he said, “This would be about people in their 40s and 50s trying to get their lives back. I think there is something beautiful about that. The North Star for me as a producer is joy. I feel like cynicism is a contracting industry, and doesn’t have a great shelf life.”
Swift, Blake Lively, and husband Reynolds have shared a close bond for a long time. They have always been supportive of each other’s careers publicly. For instance, most recently, Swift appreciated Reynolds for his work in Deadpool & Wolverine on Instagram Stories (via People).
