The online streamer appeared on fellow internet personality xQc’s stream on Wednesday, December 11, and explained the motivations behind closing the community.

“Deleting the community was a personal decision that I made to better my community, myself, my mental – better everything,” Adin Ross explained on xQc’s stream. He also said that it was “a step in the right direction” for both him and the community around him. Ross added, “I just feel like it’s unhinged and everything has got to just be taken with a grain of salt here. The decision behind that was just my decision to remove something that needs a revamp. There need to be some kind of line I draw in the sand.”

The renowned streamer offered further details on why he decided to close AR Loyals on his alternate X account @AR15thed3mon. “I deleted my x community,” Ross shared. “I did this to try to change, adapt, and mature as one … far more growth to do here but we r [are] heading in the right direction. Those who understand the change and healthy reasoning behind this, I appreciate you. I promise you I will focus on change.”

This decision seems to have come as part of Adin Ross’ efforts to change his image and return to Twitch, the platform that banned him in February 2023 for unmoderated hateful chat content. It was the eighth time that the platform banned him, and it was widely reported that the ban was permanent. In the last few years, Ross has taken quite a few breaks from streaming. Recently, he even announced an indefinite hiatus from Kick.
