What else do we know about The Family Plan 2?
“The Family Plan sequel takes place at Christmas in Europe where Dan has planned the perfect vacation for the Morgans, but his past continues to haunt them in unexpected ways,” Deadline’s description of the plot reads.
Directed by Simon Cellan Jones, the screenplay for The Family Plan 2 was written by David Coggeshall. David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger are producing the movie for Skydance Media alongside Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson for Municipal Pictures and John G. Scotti. Cellan Jones serves as executive producer.
Jones previously told ComingSoon in a March 2024 interview, “We talk about a sequel to The Family Plan, which I think would be really fun to get the old gang back together. And I’m doing that thing where I’m reading some scripts. I’m in that time where I’m pleased not to be working, and then in a month, I’m gonna be panicking that I’m not working. You know how it goes.”
A release date for The Family Plan 2 has not yet been announced.
