The latest episode features Dex Heller and Lauren Jackson beginning their regular patrol at Rice Plaza while the former also plans to make her meet Felicia Scorpio. At that time, Cyrus Renault hops into the picture ringing bells loudly, asking those around him for donations.
As Dex and Lauren go about their routine patrol, they hear a group brawling. It appears to be drunk footballers, who get into a tense argument concerning their team and game rules. The duo goes near them and separates them to stop their conflicts. Looking at Lauren and Dex, the boys are terrified and immediately escape the location.
Then, Lauren goes behind the boys whereas Dex stays back to empty the alcohol bottles in the alley. At that point, a tragic incident occurs to him. As Dex is engrossed in emptying the bottles, he remains unaware that someone is standing behind him. He also doesn’t hear any footsteps approaching. The stranger, sporting a jacket and black gloves, then takes out his sharpened knife and stabs Dex with it.
