Former One Direction member Liam Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy recently made a comeback on TikTok after the singer’s tragic death. Cassidy made fans on the platform emotional as she shared a video of her and Payne to pay tribute to the late pop star. Payne passed away on October 16, 2024, after he fell to his death from the balcony of the hotel he was staying at in Argentina.

Kate Cassidy dedicates emotional TikTok video to Liam Payne
Kate Cassidy surprised her fans after she returned to TikTok and made a post on the video-sharing platform after her late boyfriend Liam Payne‘s death in October. Cassidy shared a compilation of clips on her account which featured cozy and memorable moments she shared with Payne.
In the caption of the post, Cassidy wrote, “I love you.” Additionally, Cassidy used the song “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star in the video. The montage included Payne and Cassidy dancing and hugging each other through the numerous clips. Pop Crave shared the TikTok video on X (formerly Twitter). Following the video’s release on TikTok, many fans of the singer turned emotional and flooded the comments section with love for the couple.
After Payne’s death in October, Cassidy shared a note for the singer on Instagram. She shared images of her and Payne and in a note wrote, “None of this feels real, and I can’t wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I’m struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side,” the post reads in part.
“Together, we got to be kids again, always finding joy in the smallest things. Liam, you had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I’ve lost the best part of myself.” She further wrote that she couldn’t “imagine a day” without his “laughter and love.”
“You brought so much light into my life,” Cassidy continued.
