Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures have shared the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trailer for the first installment of the popular anime franchise’s upcoming epic film trilogy. The highly-anticipated movie is expected to arrive in theaters globally in 2025.

What happens in the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle trailer?
The video provides fans with a closer look at Muzan’s intricate Infinity Castle, which will serve as the battleground between the Demon Slayer Corps and Muzan. At the end of the final episode of Season 4, the demon lord traps all the nearby demon slayers in his castle after Kagaya Ubuyashiki decides to sacrifice himself and his family by setting bomb traps in their mansion in hopes of killing Muzan.
Demon Slayer is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The Japanese voice cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kitō as Nezuko, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke, Takahiro Sakurai as Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, Saori Hayami as Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho, Katsuyuki Konishi as Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, Kengo Kawanishi as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, Kana Hanazawa as Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, Kenichi Suzumura as Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro, Tomokazu Seki as Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Tomokazu Sugita as Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima.
“Set in the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon,” reads the logline. “To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.”
