Controversial content creator Adin Ross recently announced that he would be working toward returning to Twitch. In the update, Ross also conveyed that he will be leaving rival streaming company Kick for an unspecified period. But why is the 24-year-old internet personality switching streaming platforms at this stage?

Adin Ross leaves Kick to stream on Twitch
Adin Ross took to social media on Saturday to confirm that he will be abandoning Kick in favor of attempting to return to Twitch. However, he failed to convey a reason behind his decision, promising to do so in a separate video.
In the said post, the creator stated, “I will be making a full video on why I am leaving Kick indefinitely. I am stepping down officially, and I will be going into detail about this, this week. I will tell you all everything.” Adin Ross then updated his fans on his desire to come back to Twitch, saying, “With that being said, I am going to fully focus on being reinstated on Twitch. Thank you,” as per The Express Tribune.
This development comes after months of speculations that connected Adin Ross with a move to other streaming platforms such as Twitch. Fellow streamer Nico Sneako also claimed in a previous statement that Ross would be ditching Kick in favor of Rumble. Responding to such rumors, Kick CEO Ed Craven clarified in November that he considers Adin Ross an “incredibly valued member” of the platform’s community. However, Craven also relayed that his company’s success does not single-handedly hinge on Ross’s presence.
Prior to his migration to Kick, Adin Ross mostly streamed on Twitch. However, after three bans, with the last one occurring in February 2023 and being called an indefinite one, Ross signed a deal with Kick.
At the time of writing, Twitch has yet to reply to Ross’ remarks about wanting to return to the platform as a creator.
