Is there an A.P. Bio Season 5 release date?
There is no A.P. Bio Season 5 release date as Peacock canceled it after Season 4.
A.P. Bio Season 4 served as a final installment for the beloved series. However, a specific reason wasn’t mentioned on why it was discontinued. Currently, the series is available to watch on both, Peacock and Netflix. The final season was released in September 2021 and featured a number of eight episodes.
Why A.P. Bio Season 5 isn’t happening
A.P. Bio Season 5 isn’t coming out due to its unspecified cancelation a few years back.
The series faced the cancelation fate twice during its four-season run on NBC and Peacock. Initially, it was reported that the series was renewed for only two seasons and had no plans for Season 3 as it experienced low ratings. However, after its movement to Peacock, the series received two more seasons as its post-season release went up. The bad luck of A.P. Bio’s cancelation continued when the series ultimately didn’t renew for a fifth outing. To date, it remains unclear as to why Season 5 didn’t happen.
Generally, a series renewal depends on viewership, ratings, funding, and audience reception. So, it can be speculated that these factors might have hindered a potential season from happening. Given, the series was also canceled previously with one of the factors responsible.
