Rapper Lizzo, whose legal name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, and singer-songwriter SZA, whose legal name is Solána Imani Rowe, recently appeared on Kai Cenat’s livestream together. They discussed, among other things, their host’s hygiene. The hilarious interaction drew netizens’ attention, with many speculating it might be a skip.
So, what exactly did Lizzo and SZA say about Kai Cenat, and why has it divided fans? Here is everything you need to know.
Lizzo and SZA comment on Kai Cenat’s hygiene
Lizzo and SZA were the guests on Cenat’s ongoing 24/7 Mafiathon 2 livestream event on Saturday, November 23. At one point, they were in the kitchen and their host’s hygiene came up. SZA observed that Cenat appeared to be a “clean person.”
Although Lizzo seemed to agree, she humorously claimed that Cenat hadn’t “washed his b****,” prompting a surprised reaction from the other woman. SZA enquired if that was true and whether Lizzo learned about it from Cenat himself. In response, the Truth Hurts singer stated that Cenat has showered 23 days with his trunks, though later amended that he still might be washing himself the right way. A seemingly stunned SZA replied, “His meat’s been dry for 23 days? Unbelievable!” (via The Express Tribune)
The entire interaction between the two artists seems to have divided people on social, with many arguing that Lizzo and SZA knew they were on camera and that their conversation was a skit.
“This scripted???,” an X (formerly Twitter), user with the handle @ladidaix asked. “Cuz why that lady set them up lmfaoooo.”
Further, @faleshafaye wrote, “Ain’t no way they didn’t know it has camera, this is skit lol.”
Some claimed that the two performers were overacting. “Cut the exra money of overacting,” @SohailA32095725 posted.
Notably, both Lizzo and SZA are multi-Grammy-Award-winning artists. Meanwhile, Cenat is the most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time and one of the most followed individuals on the platform. The other guests who have appeared on Mafiathon 2 include Kodak Black, Serena Williams, Jabbawockeez, Soulja Boy, Bill Nye, Andre Iguodala, Chris Brown, and more.
