Netflix has shared the first-look photos for XO, Kitty Season 2, the latest installment to its To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before spin-off series. The photos provide fans with a first look at the returning characters, including Kitty, Yuri, Daehoon, Q, and Minho. This comes after over a year since the coming-of-age romantic dramedy made its series debut.
When is the XO, Kitty Season 2 release date?
XO, Kitty Season 2 will be available for streaming on January 16, 2025. The next installment will feature the return of Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, Choi Min-Yeong as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min-ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, Regan Aliyah as Juliana, Yunjin Kim as Jina, Michael K. Lee as Professor Lee, and Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison.
“Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey is back in Seoul for a new semester at KISS. She’s single for the first time in a long time, and ready for a fresh start: no more meddling, no more drama,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Maybe just some casual dating. Emphasis on casual. But she has more to worry about than her love life, as a letter from her mother’s past sets her on a wild journey, and new faces at KISS bring change. As secrets unravel and bonds are tested, Kitty will learn that life, family and love are more complicated than she ever imagined.”
The series is created and executive produced by author Jenny Han, who is serving as the showrunner with Sascha Rothchild. Season 2 will also introduced new cast members including, Audrey Huynh (ANZBBGRL) as Stella, Sasha Bhasin (Brave the Dark) as Preveena, and Joshua Lee as Jin. It is executive produced by Rothchild and Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment.
