Showtime has shared a brand new The Agency trailer for its newest spy thriller, starring Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender. The series is scheduled to make its debut on Friday, November 29 with the first two episodes.
“The series follows Martian, a covert CIA agent, ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station. When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites. His career, his real identity and his mission are pitted against his heart; hurling them both into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage,” reads the synopsis.

What happens in The Agency trailer?
The video features Fassbender’s Martian, who returns to his personal life after being undercover for several years. It highlights the consequences of his actions, as his family and career are now in jeopardy due to his mission.
The Agency is based on the acclaimed French drama Le Bureau des Legendes. Joining Fassbender are series regulars Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerdi and Richard Gere. Additional cast includes Adam Nagaitis, Ambreen Razia, Bilal Hasna, David Harewood, Kurt Egyiawan, Ray BLK, Sabrina Wu and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor.
The series is written and executive produced by Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, with Joe Wright directing the first two episodes.
