The case has sparked concern, with the family urging anyone with information to come forward.

Here is the latest update on the case of Hannah Kobayashi’s disappearance.

Hannah Kobayashi still not found, claims latest report

According to a recent update, Hannah Kobayashi remains missing after a series of unfavorable circumstances that began when she arrived at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on November 8. Kobayashi was flying from Maui to New York City, with a layover in Los Angeles, but she never boarded her connecting flight. Her family reported that her last known contact was on November 9, when she sent a cryptic and alarming message. In the message, she expressed “feeling scared, and that someone might be trying to steal her money and identity.” (via LA Times)

The mystery deepened as surveillance footage showed Kobayashi in downtown Los Angeles on November 11, three days after she arrived at LAX. The family confirmed the footage was taken near Pico Station. In the video, Kobayashi allegedly appeared distressed and was not alone, which raised further concern for her safety. She had been at a Nike event at The Grove shopping center on November 10. However, by November 11, her phone had been turned off and could no longer be tracked.

Kobayashi’s family continues to search for answers. They are working with the FBI to obtain crucial information, including camera footage and phone records. They also expressed frustration with the slow progress from LAX and LAPD, with the family claiming that they were told “it would have to take 48 hours before they could do anything” and take action. Her father, Ryan Kobayashi, made an emotional plea for anyone with information to come forward, hoping to bring his daughter home safely. He added, “There’s a lot of people looking for you Hannah. So, if you get this, if you see anything, just go to the police, go to anybody.”

People who might have any information can get in touch with LAPD.
