What happens in The Night Agent teaser trailer?
With Season 2 set to hit the streamer on January 23, 2025, the newly released teaser trailer opens with a phone ring. “It takes a certain kind of person to succeed as a night agent,” the voiceover states before showing Peter Sutherland embarking on another night action.
Shawn Ryan created The Night Agent, which is based on Matthew Quirk’s novel of the same name. It follows Peter Sutherland, who is stationed in the White House basement to respond to an emergency “Night Action” line. One phone call, however, changes his life forever and throws him into a deadly conspiracy about a mole at the White House.
“The Night Agent is a sophisticated, character-based, action-thriller centering on a low level FBI Agent, Peter Sutherland, whose efforts to save The President in Season 1 earn him an opportunity to become a Night Agent in Season 2. But working in the secretive organization of Night Action will propel Peter into a world where danger is everywhere and trust is in short supply,” the synopsis for Season 2 reads.
In addition to Basso, the Season 2 cast includes Luciane Buchanan, Amanda Warren, Louis Herthum, Berto Colon, Michael Malarkey, Keon Alexander, Hong Chau, Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum, Brittany Snow, Teddy Sears, Navid Negahban, and Rob Heaps.
The Night Agent Season 1 is available to stream on Netflix.
