Barry Keoghan cannot stop praising Sabrina Carpenter after Grammy nominations
Barry Keoghan proudly reacted to Sabrina Carpenter’s Grammy nominations, calling it “brilliant.” The Irish actor noted, “Brilliant, I know. Absolutely brilliant. F—in’ brilliant, lads.” He continued, “I’m really, really happy for her, honestly.” Moreover, Keoghan expressed his intentions “to get on the phone soon” and cheekily asked the hosts, “Don’t put me on the spot lads.”
Afterward, the SiriusXM show’s co-host, Cunningham, remarked how the actor, who featured in the “Please Please Please” music video, joked about him knowing the song was Grammy-worthy. Addressing Keohgan, she said, “I bet you were on the music video being like, ‘This is probably going to get Grammy nominated,'” to which he responded affirmatively.
Keoghan then lauded Carpenter for being one of the most hardworking people he knows. He told the hosts, “I don’t know anyone who works as hard [as Carpenter],” claiming he is completely in “awe of her” after watching her work. Keoghan further praised the singer’s commitment to her work and the high “standards” she sets. The 32-year-old further briefly talked about being on the music video, noting that “she knows the vision, she knows what she wants.”
On the other hand, Sabrina Carpenter posted a loud reaction video to her Grammy nominations with a “headphone warning.” She claimed this year was the first time she livestreamed the nominations when she heard her name in the nominee list before expressing gratitude.
