Why Fans Think Braum Is in Arcane Season 2

Is Braum in Arcane Season 2? This question has ignited discussions among League of Legends fans, especially after a character resembling Braum was spotted among Vi‘s allies. With his powerful build and striking demeanor, this character bears some resemblance to Braum, but is he truly part of Arcane’s storyline?

So, is Braum in Arcane Season 2? Is the character whom fans think is Braum, an entirely different character? Here is your answer.

Is Braum in Arcane Season 2?

No, Braum is not in Arcane Season 2.

Instead, the character who fans thought was Braum is actually Loris. Viewers first meet Loris in Season 2 when he offers Vi some booze in Piltover. Loris eventually joins Caitlyn’s strike team after proving his mettle at the Battle at the Memorial. It’s unsurprising fans thought Loris was Braum, as they both have similar physical builds. However, what distinguishes both of them is their hair and facial hair. Braum sports a thick, wavy mustache and is bald. Loris has hair, and his facial hair consists of mainly sideburns and a soul patch.

Very little is known about Loris as of this writing, other than the fact that he wields a big golden shield. This further differentiates him from Braum, as the League of Legends character wields an enchanted vault door as his shield.

Moreover, fans had different opinions and thoughts about the matter when it was brought up in a Reddit thread. One fan pointed out that Loris, the character whom some thought was Braum, is a cop, while Braum is a nice and compassionate character. Another fan claimed that the character who was believed to be Braum could actually be based on him.

Yet another fan said that Braum could be written into the second season’s future episodes, but expressed skepticism it would happen by saying how there was not much law involving Braum in Piltover and Zaun’s conflict.

The first three episodes of Arcane Season 2 are currently streaming on Netflix. The voice cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell, Kevin Alejandro, Harry Lloyd, Amirah Vann, and Katie Leung.
