An X user shared a screenshot of Corpse Husband’s video from January 2021, which was then reposted by another social media user, @JoeLongBalls, with a caption addressing his absence from social media. The caption read, “They cut this guy a voice acting deal, and like the next day he was eaten by a mountain lion.” This particular tweet has got 18 million views on X.
Many fans took to his comment section, sparking discussions and theories around Corpse Husband’s disappearance from YouTube for around three years.
The tweet makes a reference to the YouTuber’s 2022 voice deal for an anime adaptation of Kazutaka Kodaka’s Tribe Nine. He was hired to lend the voice to Ōjirō Ōtori. He announced his anime debut to his fans on a livestream with Sykkuno and Valkyrae.
