AMC has shared the official Mayfair Witches Season 2 trailer for the next installment of the supernatural drama based on Anne Rice‘s Lives of the Mayfair Witches novel trilogy. The series will finally return on Sunday, January 5, 2025 on AMC and AMC+, after more than a year since wrapping up its first season.

What happens in the Mayfair Witches Season 2 trailer?
The video teases the dire consequences of Rowan giving birth to the demon Lasher, who begins to hunt down the Mayfair women. It highlights the challenges that Rowan must face to protect her family. The drama stars Alexandra Daddario as Rowan, Jack Huston as Lasher, Tongayi Chirisa as Ciprien Grieve, and Harry Hamlin as Cortland Mayfair.
“Season 2 continues the journey of Rowan Mayfair after she has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lasher,” reads the logline. “She is determined to understand what he has become – human or monster? – and to use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer, but when tragedy strikes, she must put aside her own desires and fight to protect her family.”
Mayfair Witches hails from Masters of Sex’s Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford, who are both serving as writers and executive producers. Season 2 will also introduce new cast members including, Alyssa Jirrels as Moira Mayfair, Ted Levine as Julien Mayfair, Thora Birch as Gifford Mayfair, Ben Feldman as Sam Larkin, Callan McAuliffe as Abel Mayfair, Franka Potente as Annamieke, and Ian Pirie as Ian Mayfair.
