49ers’ Nick Bosa Wore a MAGA Hat in Support of Donald Trump

After the 49ers latest game, Nick Bosa surprised viewers by showing his support for Donald Trump on NBC’s postgame show, stirring conversations across social media and beyond. Now, many are curious to know about what Nick Bosa did during the 49ers’ final game interview. Here are all the details.

What did Nick Bosa do during 49ers’ final game interview?

Following the San Francisco 49ers’ recent win against the Cowboys, Nick Bosa showed support for Donald Trump with an unexpected appearance during a postgame interview. He captured attention by wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. As NBC’s Melissa Stark began speaking with quarterback Brock Purdy, running back Isaac Guerendo, and tight end George Kittle, Bosa walked up from behind, adjusting his hat and briefly interrupting the interview. Stark responded to Bosa’s gesture with a quick acknowledgment, “Nick Bosa with a message there,” while his teammates offered faint smiles before he stepped back out of view.

NBC later removed Bosa’s brief cameo from the interview clip shared on social media. During his postgame press conference, Bosa kept his comments minimal, simply noting, “I think it’s an important time,” when asked about his decision to wear the hat. Although Bosa did not arrive at Levi’s Stadium wearing the hat or sport it in previous appearances, he has been vocal in his support of former President Donald Trump. Over the summer, he attended a UFC event in Miami, where he was photographed with Trump and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

Asked if he had considered displaying his political views before, Bosa commented, “It’s definitely a little easier nowadays, but no, I don’t feel too inclined to do that,” mentioning a “different climate” but offering no additional details.

Bosa’s MAGA display came the same day as a controversial Trump rally at Madison Square Garden, where speakers promoted divisive rhetoric. Trump himself, in the campaign’s final days, has intensified his rhetoric, suggesting he would deploy the U.S. military against citizens and describing the country as “occupied” by immigrants.
