List of all major DC Easter eggs and references in The Penguin Episode 6

The Penguin Episode 6 featured numerous interesting DC easter eggs which are listed as follows:

Victor Aguilar’s motorcycle ride

At the start of Episode 6, The Penguin’s right-hand man, Victor Aguilar is seen riding a motorcycle. He rides his bike across numerous tunnels in Gotham as he is about to arrive at Oz’s new hub at the central trolley hub. Aguilar’s motorcycle ride is similar to Bruce Wayne‘s scenes in the opening scenes of The Batman. In the film, Wayne rides a motorcycle through underground tunnels as well. However, the tunnels shown in The Penguin are different.

The LoBoys gang

The LoBoys are a Gotham gang traced from the comics. In Fox’s Gotham show, the group is seen clashing with Penguin. In this series, two women represent the gang in a major summit meeting.

Pauli’s Diner

In one of the scenes, Oz asks his mother if she remembers them going to “Pauli’s Diner.” Pauli’s diner features in the opening scene of the Arkham Knight video game. Additionally, the dinner features in the LEGO DC Supervillains game.

Penguin’s brother’s pictures

Further in the episode, Sal and Sofia find a childhood picture of Oz with his brothers Jack and Benny.

The corrupt Councilman Handy

Oz is seen threatening Councilman Handy, one of the most corrupt mayors of Gotham City. Handy is equally corrupt in The Penguin.

The Sullivan crime family

The Penguin also showcases the oldest crime group in Gotham called the Sullivan family, aka The Irish Gang. However, they aren’t that powerful. The gang is also featured in the original comics where they used to work for the notorious mobster Carmine Falcone before being taken down in The Long Halloween.
