Netflix revealed its first trailer at the New York Comic Con, earlier this month on October 17, 2024. It was revealed then that the movie will not be adapting the source material very closely and aims to tell an original story taking inspiration from Stålenhag’s graphic novel. Fans naturally were not happy with this decision. However, the trailer does promise an epic cinematic experience nonetheless.
The Electric State features a star-studded cast with Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Woody Harrelson, Ke Huy Quan, Giancarlo Esposito, Stanley Tucci, Anthony Mackie, and more.
