Marvel Studios has finally announced the official Daredevil: Born Again Disney+ release date for the highly-anticipated MCU revival of the hit Netflix series, starring Charlie Cox as the titular hero. This comes after more than six years since the original series had wrapped up its three-season run on Netflix.
“The revival catches up with Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, and his nemesis, Wilson Fisk, who’s pursuing his own political endeavors in New York,” reads the logline.
When is the Daredevil: Born Again Disney+ release date?
Daredevil: Born Again is now scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, on Disney+. The 9-episode MCU revival will feature the return of Cox as Matt Murdock, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/ Punisher, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/ Bullseye, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk. The cast will also include newcomers Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gaston, Nikki M. James, Arty Froushan, Genneya Walton, and more.
The series hails from showrunner Dario Scardapane and directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, based on the character created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett. The revival was first announced in July 2022 during the San Diego Comic-Con.
Prior to Born Again, Cox and D’Onofrio already made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021, with Kingpin guest-starring in the Hawkeye series and Matt Murdock briefly appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. They also recently appeared in the Alaqua Cox-led Hawkeye spin-off miniseries Echo.
