Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced the opening date of Universal Epic Universe, a brand new theme park that features Super Nintendo World, more Harry Potter attractions, and much more.
When does Universal Epic Universe open?
Universal Epic Universe is set to open on May 22, 2025, and will feature five different themed worlds in its park, including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
The theme park will also be anchored by the Universe Helios Grand Hotel, an all new Loews Hotel that sports 500 rooms and features “one-of-a-kind views” of the park.
Tickets for Universal Epic Universe go on sale beginning next week and can be purchased in a variety of different manners, including:
- A variety of multi-day tickets and vacation packages that include three, four or five days of admission to Universal’s theme parks — including one day admission to Epic Universe. These products will go on sale on Tuesday, October 22.
- Reservations for Universal Helios Grand Hotel will open on Tuesday, October 22 for stays beginning May 22, 2025.
- Annual Passholders have the exclusive opportunity to purchase single-day tickets to Universal Epic Universe before they go on sale to the general public. Passholders can take advantage of this priority opportunity beginning Thursday, October 24.
Additionally, guests will be able to create their own vacation package by bundling a 2-night or longer stay at a Universal hotel with different ticketing options for Universal’s various theme parks.

Guests will explore five spectacularly themed worlds, an array of unique dining, shopping and entertainment experiences, and so much more. Epic Universe will also be adjacent to three new Universal hotels, co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co, — including sister properties, Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort, and the majestic Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel — which is located at the theme park.”
