“Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date – Deadpool & Wolverine,” reads the official synopsis. “A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his home world faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit up again with an even more reluctantlier. . . reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to… oh hell, just watch the movie. Synopses are stupid.”

Deadpool & Wolverine earned approximately $1.3 billion at the global box office during its theatrical run. This makes it the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time and the second-highest-grossing movie of the year following Inside Out 2.
