It’s becoming so predictable, just before the hearing as if by chance,” and added a wink face emoji.
The scandal originated after outlets such as Swedish public broadcaster SVT and Expressen reported that Mbappe is “suspected on reasonable grounds of rape.” These allegations surfaced following Mbappé’s visit to Stockholm. He reportedly visited a nightclub and stayed at a hotel on October 10. Swedish police have clarified that suspicion on “reasonable grounds” implies there are certain circumstances that suggest potential involvement in the crime. However, despite these claims, Swedish prosecutors have not provided any specific names or details.

Kylian Mbappe’s lawyer, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, has fiercely defended her client against the allegations circulating in Swedish media. Canu-Bernard spoke out on French television, emphasizing that the soccer star was handling the situation with composure. She reassured the public that Mbappe remains “absolutely calm” and fully focused on his professional commitments despite the intense scrutiny.
Speaking on TF1, Canu-Bernard dismissed the allegations as a “slanderous denunciation.” She noted that the media frenzy has left him “completely flabbergasted” and unsure of why such accusations would be made against him. In a follow-up interview with BFMTV, Canu-Bernard admitted that the accusations have had a noticeable “impact” on his life. Further, she revealed that the situation has been “complicated” for Mbappe to deal with.
