Dancing with the Stars Season 33 gets more interesting with every episode. The recent episode witnessed the Dedication Night, where pairs offered tributes to various special and important people in their lives. The episode also saw the return of alum Hayley Hough after a critical illness and former DWTS pro Mark Ballas, who joined as a guest judge. Who got eliminated and went home on Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Episode 5?
Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko were eliminated in Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Episode 5.
This week, the judges decided to personally mentor every pair and provide them with helpful tips to improve their performances. Eeach pair put forth mesmerizing performances with various dance styles, including Viennese Waltz, Contemporary, Salsa, Rumba, Foxtrot, and Argentine Tango.
Nader and Savchenko pulled off a stylish and beautiful salsa act to the tunes of J Balvin and Willy William’s Mi Gente. Further, the judges also had some positive comments on their performance. Carrie Ann praised Nader for completing her moves at last, and Derek Hough agreed that it was a fantastic performance.
However, according to Hough, the steps were way too big for salsa. Bruno Tonioli called it a good routine and Ballas felt Nader had all the elements to become a great dancer. Ultimately, the judges gave the pair a decent score of 32 out of 40.
However, Nader and Savchenko were eliminated as they received the lowest combined scores and viewers’ votes. As the two bid adieu to the show, Nader felt grateful for her partnership with Savchenko. On the other hand, Savchenko said the result was “unexpected” as he thought they were going to win.
