Asmongold Has Been Banned on Twitch

Many fans and critics are wondering whether Asmongold got banned on Twitch or YouTube after his controversial remarks on the ongoing Palestinian conflict. His comments, which many found non-sympathetic, have sparked a significant outcry.

So, have Twitch and YouTube taken any actions against Asmongold, following the controversy? Here are the details.

Did Asmongold get banned from Twitch or YouTube?

Popular streamer Asmongold has been banned on Twitch for 14 days.

On October 14, Asmongold shared his controversial opinion on the ongoing conflict in Palestine on his livestream. He addressed the situation in Gaza saying, “I am not going to cry a f—ing river when people who have genocide that’s baked into their laws are getting genocided.”

Furthermore, he described Palestinians as “terrible people” and said “they are not the same as us.”

“They come from an inferior culture that is horrible, it kills people for their identity and is directly antithetical to everything Western values stand for and is an inferior culture in all ways,” he further added.

His insensitive comments on the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict stirred massive attention and discussions. Many called him out for showing no sympathy towards the affected.

Following the latest backlash, Asmongold has come out to address his previous comments and apologize on X (formerly Twitter). He said, “Looking back on it, I was way too much of an a**hole about the Palestine thing. My bad. Of course, no one deserves to have their life destroyed even if they do things or have views I find regressive. You guys deserve more than me saying stupid sh*t like that, I’ll do better.”

Twitch has banned his account for 14 days on the platform following his remarks.
