Bryan Danielson Receives Unexpected Message After AEW WrestleDream 2024

Former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson received a surprising message after WrestleDream 2024. At the show, Danielson defended his World Heavyweight Championship against his former faction member from the Blackpool Combat Club Jon Moxley.

The feud began at AEW All Out when Bryan Danielson retained his title against Jack Perry. After the match, tensions rose when Christian Cage appeared to cash in his title shot. At that point, Jon Moxley, along with Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Pac, intervened. However, in a shocking turn of events, Moxley and Castagnoli turned against Danielson and attacked him.

Following the betrayal, Jon Moxley defeated Allin at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. With this, Moxley became the new number one contender for Danielson’s AEW World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleDream 2024.

After being kicked out of the Blackpool Combat Club, Bryan Danielson faced Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream 2024 and suffered a loss. However, the faction was not finished with him. Following the match, Danielson endured a brutal beating from the faction. Even Wheeler Yuta, who had to be on his side, joined in on the attack.

Bryan Danielson has mentioned several times that this year will be his final as a full-time wrestler. Recently, he confirmed that his full-time wrestling career will come to an end after his AEW WrestleDream 2024 match. Later, he will transition into a potential part-time role.

Despite the shocking loss, Danielson received support from several AEW stars on the roster. Surprisingly, he also received a message from Swerve Strickland, the same man he defeated to capture the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.

Former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland had lost his title to Bryan Danielson at All In. He made his return at WrestleDream 2024 and recently sent a message to Danielson after his loss to Jon Moxley. Strickland shared a photo from their All In match on X (formerly known as Twitter) with the caption, “Oh yeah… #ThankYouBryan.”

Bryan Danielson is now transitioning into a potential part-time wrestling role. It will be interesting to see when he returns after his loss at AEW WrestleDream 2024.
