After the tremendous success of WrestleMania 40, WWE is planning a major match for WrestleMania 41. The promotion has announced that WrestleMania 41 will take place in Las Vegas, on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium. Fans are already buzzing with excitement as they anticipate numerous high-profile matches.
WrestleMania 40 had concluded with Cody Rhodes defeating Roman Reigns to secure the WWE Undisputed Championship. The next night, The Rock confronted Rhodes on RAW. Meanwhile, Reigns faced challenges as his faction, The Bloodline, came under the control of Solo Sikoa. Many fans speculate that next year’s show will feature a showdown between The Rock and Rhodes. Another match that has been heavily teased is a clash between Reigns and Sikoa in Las Vegas.
However, this past weekend at WWE Bad Blood 2024, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns joined forces to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. After the match, The Rock made a shocking return, locking eyes with both Rhodes and Reigns. With his return, WWE seems poised to set up a major match among the three for WrestleMania 41.
Cody Rhodes, The Rock & Roman Reigns ‘on the table’ for WrestleMania 41
This past weekend at WWE Bad Blood 2024, The Rock made his return and sent out a signal from the entrance ramp to Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. He counted to 1, 2, 3, and then exited the show. Since then, reports have surfaced that WWE is planning a major triple threat match featuring The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas next year.
WrestleVotes reported during a Backstage Pass Q&A that WWE is considering a triple threat match for WrestleMania 41. It states, “My thought is it signifies that’s where we’re going for WrestleMania. 1-2-3 as in Triple Threat match. Yeah, I can tell you that’s on the table. I don’t know for sure if it’s been finalized in any way. It’s October 8. I doubt it’s been finalized, but that idea has been floated and I think it makes the most sense for the company to get those three guys in the ring.”
The plans are still not finalized for WWE WrestleMania 41. So, fans will look forward to how things play out in the coming months.
