Teyana Taylor and The Flash’s Sasha Calle have joined the cast of RIP.

RIP is a new Netflix thriller movie that is being directed by Joe Carnahan. Starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, a release date for RIP has not yet been announced.

Per Deadline, Taylor and Calle have now both joined the cast of RIP.

Taylor has starred in movies such as 2010’s Stomp the Yard: Homecoming, 2018’s The After Party, 2021’s Coming 2 America, 2023’s A Thousand and One (which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival that January), 2023’s White Men Can’t Jump, and 2023’s The Book of Clarence. She’ll soon be seen starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Paul Thomas Anderson’s next movie, which releases in August.

Calle, meanwhile, played Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in Warner Bros. and DC’s The Flash movie, which was released in the summer of 2023. She’s since starred in 2024’s In the Summers and 2024’s On Swift Horses, while she additionally portrayed Lola Rosales in CBS’ The Young and the Restless.

What else do we know about Netflix’s RIP movie?

“The plot follows a group of Miami cops whose trust begins to fray after they discover millions in cash in a derelict stash house,” the film’s description reads. “As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on.”

The script for the movie was written by Carnahan, who previously directed 2006’s Smokin’ Aces, 2010’s The A-Team, 2011’s The Grey, 2020’s Boss Level, and 2021’s Copshop, among other titles. Affleck and Damon are both producing the film for Artists Equity alongside Luciana Damon and Dani Bernfeld.

Artists Equity’s Michael Joe and Kevin Halloran also serve as executive producers on RIP. Netflix officially acquired the rights to the film this past July.
