ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive Sugar Baby trailer for the upcoming erotic thriller, which will be available to rent or own on digital platforms on Tuesday, October 15. This comes after Vantage Media recently acquired the North American rights to the film.
“Marie, an enterprising Sugar Baby, spends her days in search of her ‘whale’ when a new Sugar Daddy, Jeff, enters the chat offering her $30,000 to spend the week with him,” reads the synopsis. “Now Marie is flush with cash, has access to designer clothing, and has the full run of Jeff’s mansion — except for one room behind a locked door. But when Marie gains access to the ‘secret room’ one fateful evening, she discovers there’s another woman living there. And not just any woman; an influencer Marie has followed and admired. However, unlike Marie, Chloe has fallen under Jeff’s spell. Trapped together in their gilded cage, the girls bond, and soon their friendship becomes something… more. As Marie plans their escape, each girl must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice to escape from their Daddy’s palatial prison.”

Who is in the Sugar Baby trailer?
The video introduces comedian Mary Beth Barone as an ambitious Sugar Baby who agrees to live in her Sugar Daddy’s mansion in hopes of getting everything she wants. However, unbeknownst to her, her new benefactor has sinister secrets that she will soon uncover. The trailer also features Revenge and Big Little Lies star James Tupper as Jeff/Sugar Daddy.
The film is directed by Lauren Garroni from a screenplay written by Bree Essrig. Additional cast includes Essrig, Nina Bloomgarden (The Idea of You), Theo Germaine (The Politician), Carmen Christopher (The Bear), Behzad Dabu (How to Get Away with Murder), and more. It is executive produced by Garroni, Easrig, and Simon Brook, with Mary Ellen Moffat producing.
