Exclusive Twisters Clip Breaks Down the Creation of Terrifying Sounds

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Twisters clip, previewing one of the many bonus features found on the film’s home release. It will first be available on digital platforms beginning Tuesday, October 8, and then will come out on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on October 22, 2024.

What happens in the Twisters clip?

The new clip comes from the “Voice of the Villain” bonus feature, which documents the creation of the many sounds the audio team for Twisters had to come up with for the film. The clip features an interview with Supervising Sound Editor Al Nelson as he breaks down how the team came up with the different sounds of wind, rain, and more.

Twisters will be available to rent or own on digital platforms beginning Tuesday, October 8. It will also be available for purchase on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on October 22, 2024. Listed below are the complete bonus features included in its home video release:

The film was directed by Minari filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith. The ensemble cast also includes Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, Harry Hadden-Paton, Nik Dodani, Tunde Adebimpe, Katy O’Brian, and David Corenswet. It was produced by Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley, with Steven Spielberg executive producing through Amblin Entertainment.
