Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the South Park: The End of Obesity Blu-ray and DVD release date for the latest TV special of the long-running adult animated sitcom. This comes after the special’s Paramount+ debut last May 24.
“The advent of new weight loss drugs has a huge impact on everyone in South Park,” reads the synopsis. “When Cartman is denied access to the life-changing medicine, the kids jump into action.”

South Park: The End of Obesity is scheduled to arrive on Blu-ray and DVD, starting on December 3, 2024. This marks the franchise’s seventh television special, which features the voices of cast members Trey Parker, Matt Stone, April Stewart, Mona Marshall, Kimberly Brooks, Jessica Makinson and more.
The series is co-created and executive produced by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II also serving as executive producers. It is produced by Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman. The sitcom has been on-air for more than 20 seasons since its debut in 1997. During its run, it has garnered a number of awards including five Emmy awards and a Peabody award in 2005.
