Jonathan Taylor sustained an ankle injury during his side’s 27-24 win over the Steelers.

With 8:11 remaining, Taylor pushed for a 1-yard run to further his team’s cause. However, the 25-year-old footballer hurt his ankle by the end of play. Despite his concerning state, Taylor attempted to make a late return to the pitch with his ankle retaped. Nonetheless, the Colts ultimately decided against risking his fitness in the long term by confirming his departure. As reported by Indianapolis Star’s Joel Erickson, the running back addressed his scathed position, stating that he was “feeling pretty good.”

Interestingly, Jonathan Taylor has an expansive history of ankle injuries. He first sustained an ankle sprain in 2022 before re-aggravating the injury shortly afterward. This development caused Taylor to undergo surgery, effectively sabotaging his 2023 season.

When will Jonathan Taylor return to play NFL?
