WWE RAW Superstars CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been embroiled in a heated rivalry for months. Both wrestlers are currently scheduled to face each other at Bad Blood in a Hell in a Cell match. The match comes after CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a strap match in Bash in Berlin. Following his victory, the latter launched a vicious attack on Punk, which made him bleed and break a fanmade bracelet with the names of AJ Lee and his dog, Larry.
After this incident, WWE announced that Punk and McIntyre would clash in a Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood on October 5. In the latest edition of RAW, Drew McIntyre made an appearance to deliver a message to his nemesis. He vowed to make Punk bleed and promised that he would inflict more pain and suffering than he had ever experienced.
With McIntyre sending a huge warning to Punk, many expected to see the latter come out and confront him. However, nothing came to fruition as he didn’t make an appearance on the show. Although he was absent, CM Punk was backstage and brought a special guest with him to the show — his dog Larry.
CM Punk brings his dog to WWE RAW, sends heartfelt message to AJ Lee
Former WWE Champion CM Punk didn’t appear on the show but stayed backstage. He recently shared photos on Instagram stories featuring his dog, who accompanied him. He posted several pictures and videos of Larry in the ring in the gorilla position. In a heartfelt message, Punk included a photo of himself sitting with Larry in the ring, writing, “Bring your son to work day. I’ve never been happier,” while tagging his wife, AJ Lee.
CM Punk and AJ Lee’s fans are well aware of their love for Larry. Both stars have mentioned on many occasions that they consider him their son.
