Toei Animation has partnered with Fathom Events for the limited theatrical release of the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima anime.
“Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are turned small. What sort of adventure awaits Goku, Supreme Kai, and the new characters Glorio and Panzy in this unknown world, the ‘Demon Realm’?” reads the anime’s official logline.
When is the theatrical release date for Dragon Ball Daima anime?
The first three episodes of the Dragon Ball Daima anime will arrive in select U.S. theaters nationwide on November 10, November 11, and November 12. Prior to its limited screenings, the anime will first make its series debut on Friday, October 11 on Crunchyroll in the United States, Canada, Latine America, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, and Southeast Asia.
Based on the characters created by the late Akira Toriyama, the anime series is directed by Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki. The creative team also includes Yuko Kakihara (series composition and scenario) and Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (character design). Grammy winner Zedd has also signed on to compose the show’s opening theme song “Jaka Jaan,” with singer-songwriting duo C&K providing vocals. Zedd is also producing the ending song “NAKAMA,” whose lyrics were written and sung by the artist AI.
