Harlequin: Lady Gaga to Drop Joker: Folie à Deux Companion Album

Lady Gaga just announced the exciting release of her next album, a companion album to Joker: Folie À Deux titled Harlequin

The Todd Phillips-directed musical thriller, set to hit theaters on October 4, will see the singer and actress as Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix as the titular clown prince of crime. Prior to Lady Gaga’s announcement, she has been dropping hints on social media about her highly anticipated seventh studio album.

She posted five different slides on her Instagram account, which include “I’m Ready For My Interview,” “Don’t Tell Me What To Wear,” “No Ducttape No Mission,” “Moondust Gets Everywhere,” and “Still Not October.” However, it is still unsure whether Harlequin will serve as her next album or just a mere soundtrack album for the upcoming movie.

When is Harlequin coming out?

The A Star is Born and House of Gucci actress announced that Harlequin will be arriving on September 27, ahead of Joker 2’s theatrical release. The album will consist of 13 tracks, including “Good Morning,” “Oh, When the Saints,” “If My Friends Could See Me Now,” “That’s Entertainment,” “The Joker,” “Gonna Build a Mountain,” “Happy Mistake,” and more.

The singer also recently released a surprise single with Bruno Mars, called “Die With a Smile.” Harlequin is available for pre-order through this link.

The upcoming film also stars Catherine Keener as Maryanne Stewart, Brendan Gleeson as Jackie Sullivan, Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond, Steve Coogan as Paddy Meyers, and Harry Lawtey as Harvey Dent, among others.

Joker: Folie à Deux hits theaters on October 4.
