YFN Lucci death rumors explained

According to TMZ, Drew Findling, the same lawyer who represented Lucci in the above-mentioned trial, clarified that his client was alive. It’s possible that the rumors about Lucci’s death were spread to take advantage of the emotional response that the fans had after learning about the passing of Rich Homie Quan, who died on September 5, 2024, at age 34. As of the time of the composition of this article, it’s unclear how Rich Homie Quan died. Lucci and Rich Homie Quan were both associated with the Think It’s A Game (T.I.G.) record label at one point in their career.

Why did people say that YFN Lucci died?

TMZ reports that the rumors about Lucci’s death began circulating following a BlogSpot post on the matter. The fans inevitably responded to the claim, which soon spread all over social media despite being false.

In April 2021, Lucci was one of the several individuals indicted on the charges of racketeering and possessing a firearm while committing a felony. According to the Atlanta Police Department, Lucci was a member of a street gang known as the Bloods. However, Findling said that he was innocent of the charges brought against him.
