All major MCU easter eggs spotted in Agatha All Along Episodes 1 and 2

The first and second episodes of Agatha All Along feature numerous easter eggs which are mentioned below.

True Crime Series

Agatha All Along seems to pay homage to iconic series like Mare of Easttown, True Detective, and Killing. The crime procedural storyline is hugely inspired by Mare of Easttown, including Agnes’ personality and her outfit being similar to Kate Winslet’s character. The series also offers a call back to WandaVision with its fake opening titles- “Based on the Danish series Wanvavisdysen.

Dead Witches

In the opening credits of the first episode, there are three stills of Salem-era witches. The powers of these witches were absorbed. While they are not particularly the same ones shown in WandaVision, their faces look dull, similar to the witches whose powers were taken by Agatha in WandVision.

Bellevue

Episode 1 also includes a reference to the comics. In the scene where Agnes is going through the details of the loan, viewers can observe a sheet on her desk. The sheet mentions Bellevue, which is a medical facility in Manhattan as seen in the comics. The facility has treated numerous popular patients, including Daredevil and Bullseye.

Graffiti

At the beginning of the second episode, Agatha walks past a demolished house that belongs to none other than Wanda and Vision. In the ruins, fans can observe graffiti of ‘Evil Witch’ while Agatha spits on the front lawn.

Wiccan

Further in Episode 2, Agatha and Teen are excited about the arrival of their friends in their Westview home. Teen shows his Welcome Coven banner but Agatha ends up tearing it down. However, as she tears the banner, the W stays in place. This led fans to speculate Teen is Wiccan, the superhero alter-ego of Billy, Wanda Maximoff’s imaginary son. The fan theory that Teen is Wiccan has been circulating online since the teaser was first released, and this supposed reference seems to have further strengthened that theory.

Theme Song

The end credits of both the episodes remain the same but there is a twist. Episode 2’s end credits play Agatha All Along’s theme instead of a real song.
