A new trailer for A24’s Heretic has been released.
Heretic is an upcoming A24 horror movie written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. Starring Hugh Grant in a villainous role, the film will be released in United States theaters this November.

What is Heretic about?
“Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant), becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse,” the official synopsis reads.
The movie also stars Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets), Chloe East (The Fabelmans), and Topher Grace (That ’70s Show).
Heretic held its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month. It received positive reviews from critics, with many praising Grant’s performance.
Beck and Woods’ previous filmography includes 2015’s Nightlight, 2019’s Haunt, and 2023’s 65. They are also credited as writers on 2018’s A Quiet Place and 2023’s The Boogeyman. The two of them are producing Heretic alongside Stacey Sher, Julia Glausi, and Jeanette Volturno.
Heretic will be released in United States theaters on November 15, 2024, from A24.
