The Old Man Season 1 follows Dan Chase, who initially worked for the CIA and is an Afghanistan veteran. He has been on the run for 30 years, after committing a heinous crime. He killed an individual, who broke into his house. Now, he maintains a low profile and resides in an apartment given by Zoe McDonald. However, she usually also assists him in escaping and at times becomes his hide-out partner.
When the CIA is unable to catch him, they decide to bring a skillful special ops contractor to do the work. Firstly, they summon FBI Assistant Director for Counter Intelligence Harold Harper, who guides his team members to know Chase’s whereabouts. Justin, the hitman, gets the task of finishing Chase’s game once and for all. As the series progresses, Chase isn’t just on a run from the CIA but also from his past.
