Earlier today, the official website for Kei Sazane’s Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World anime announced that episode 5 of season 2 will not air this week. The announcement revealed that the anime will be going on an indefinite hiatus.

Throughout the rest of the summer season, the anime will instead run select episodes from the previous season. Fans can watch the episodes on Crunchyroll. Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World season 2 episode 4 recap
Episode 4 starts with Alice surveying the damage done to the palace. The queen arrives and immediately inquires about Vichyssoise. However, Alice tells her she is already in prison. She suggests that House Hydra be the mastermind, but the house had reported that Vichyssoise acted alone. They discover Shuvalts has yet to make it to the palace, making them panic.
Meanwhile, Iska’s group tries to help Sisbell recover from her illness, as she uses her sickness as an excuse to get closer to Iska. Elsewhere, the queen tells Alice about her time with Salinger and how everything had gone wrong. However, their conversation is interrupted by Rin, who reports Sisbell’s whereabouts.
Iska and the rest of the team successfully escort Sisbell to the central province. However, Elletear arrives and blackmails them into following her to her vacation house instead. Rinne reports the situation to Alice, and then the queen sends Alice to protect Sisbell. The episode ends with the saint’s disciples successfully infiltrating the country.
