Serendipity’s Embrace K-drama episode 1’s release date has been announced. The tvN K-drama is a romance series revolving around the themes of love, coincidence, and fate. It stars Kim So-Hyun as Lee Hong-Ju and Chae Jong-Hyeop as Kang Hu-Yeong.
The lead characters’ lives turn upside down when they meet each other after a decade. In high school, Hong-Ju had a huge crush on Hu-Yeong, but her confession turned into heartbreak. As adults, their meeting is a coincidence, but their fate continues to bring them together on several occasions.
Will they give a second chance to each other? The new K-drama is based on the webtoon ‘Is It Fate?’ by Nam Ji-Eun.

Serendipity’s Embrace K-drama episode 1 premieres on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 8:40 p.m. on tvN. It will also be available to stream on Viki. Consisting of eight episodes, the drama will air twice a week on Monday and Tuesday. Hence, episode 2 will be released the next day, July 23, 2024.
Serendipity’s Embrace K-drama episode 1: What to expect?
tvN recently shared the trailer for the first episode of Serendipity’s Embrace K-drama, highlighting Hong-Ju and Hu-Yeong’s reunion. Since her heartbreak in high school, she has been cautious about her romantic relationships. Hong-Ju decides to go on a blind date and approaches the person in a cafe. Coincidentally, her date is her first love, Hu-Yeong; however, she doesn’t recognize him at first.
On the other hand, Hu-Yeong has recognized her and looks shocked. A flashback shows their high school moment when she confessed her feelings to him. Coming back to the present, Hu-Yeong tries to confirm if she is really his high schoolmate. However, their encounter gets interrupted when Hong-Ju realizes she has sat at the wrong table.
Viewers can expect awkward and secondhand embarrassing moments in episode 1. It will also highlight the story of the lead characters from the beginning. Tune in to tvN on Mondays and Tuesdays to watch new episodes of Serendipity’s Embrace.
