Peacock has begun sending emails to customers announcing a price increase on its Premium plans for its streaming service.
The Peacock price increase affects Premium and Premium Plus Monthly and Annual subscriptions. The email announcing the hike in prices reads as follows,
”Thank you for being a Peacock subscriber. We want to let you know about an upcoming price increase to your subscription.
If you’re a current subscriber on a monthly plan, you’ll receive one additional month at the current price. The new pricing will be effective for current subscribers on your next billing date on or after August 17, 2024.”

Peacock is the latest entertainment subscription to announce a significant price increase as the streaming market struggles to contain a glut of services.
Peacock offers a range of movies and TV shows. The shows available include Yellowstone, Those About to Die, The Office, Ted, 30 Rock, and The Traitors.
Its movie selection features Universal movies before anywhere else, including Five Nights at Freddy’s Monkey Man, Migration, and Abigail. It also includes select Sony/Columbia movies such as Ghostbusters.
Peacock also has a fairly strong sports showing. It hosts the WWE Network and features English Premier League soccer matches, Sunday Night Football, and IndyCar racing.
