Apple TV+ has officially tapped Aaron Pierre (Krypton) to join The Morning Show Season 4 cast for next installment of the award-winning drama, which is currently in production.
Pierre has been cast to portray the a key recurring role of Miles, who’s being described as “an acclaimed visual artist who moves through the circles of the New York elite.” This marks the British actor’s latest major TV project, after he most recently starred as Malcolm X in the new season of National Geographic’s anthology drama Genius. Pierre is currently attached to lead the cast of Barry Jenkins’ highly-anticipated Lion King prequel Mufasa, where he’ll be voicing the young version of the titular fan-favorite character.

The Morning Show is an unapologetic, candid drama that looks at the modern workplace through the lens of the people who help wake America up. Pierre will be joining series leads Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Billy Crudup. It also features returning stars Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin, and Marcia Gay Harden. Season 4 will feature the addition of Oscar winners Marion Cotillard as Celine Dumont and Jeremy Irons as Alex’s father Martin Levy.
The series is created and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg (The Leftovers), with Kerry Ehrin serving as writer. Executive producers are Witherspoon, Aniston, Ehrin, Mimi Leder, Kristin Hahn, Lauren Levy Neudstadter, Adam Milch, and Erica Lipez.
