The episode starts with Mira, the evil army’s lieutenant, attacking the city with a monster. Meanwhile, Byakuya hears the carnage and immediately transforms to stop the monster. She manages to defeat it easily and confronts Mira. However, after seeing her, his glasses shatter as he is overwhelmed by how cute she is.
Mira returns to their fortress and is questioned about the magical girl and his strategies. However, he assures them that everything will work out and that they will receive good news. He then meets Byakuya, and they have lunch together, but he is conflicted because she calls him nice.
They meet up the next day, and he brings her a cake. She tells him about her past and how she was scammed into becoming a magical girl. He asks her to quit, but she refuses, telling him someone has to do it. She tells him the job isn’t bad since the two of them get to see each other, and he gets even more flustered. The episode ends with him ordering a fruit tart for her despite his urge to give her up.
