Pushpa 2
The sequel to the 2021 movie Pushpa: The Rise is just a few months away from its release now. Allu Arjun will reprise his role as Pushpa Raj in the sequel. The movie will follow the story of Pushpa Raj ruling the red sandalwood smuggling world. It also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles.
Sukumar is directing the movie, and Mythri Movie Makers is producing it. It was earlier set to be out in August, but its makers needed more time to make it better. The movie will now be released on December 6, 2024.
Indian 2
Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 is undoubtedly one of the most awaited Indian movie sequels of 2024. After almost three decades, Haasan is reprising his beloved character, Senapathy. The buzz around the movie is already massive, as fans are excited to watch him on the silver screens again. Helmed by S Shankar, the movie also stars Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and others. It will be in theaters on July 12, 2024.
Stree 2
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are all set to reprise their respective roles from their 2018 hit horror comedy Stree. The movie’s sequel, Stree 2, will feature another supernatural activity in the town of Chanderi. Amar Kaushik is directing the movie, which is a part of the Maddock Supernatural Universe. It also cast Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Tamannaah Bhatia. The movie is scheduled to be released on August 15, 2024.
Singham Again
Rohit Shetty is further expanding his cop universe with another addition to the Singham franchise with Singham Again. Led by Ajay Devgn, the movie will follow the events of the 2021 movie Sooryavanshi. It features an ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. While the movie was earlier scheduled to release in August, it has now been delayed till the occasion of Diwali 2024.
Bhool Bhualaiyaa 3
The popular horror comedy franchise Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s third instalment is currently in the works. While the first movie featured Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the lead roles, its sequel saw Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu.
Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan are returning to the franchise with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which also has Tripti Dimrii. Anees Bazmee is directing the film, which will be released on November 7, 2024.
Hera Pheri 3
It has been almost two decades since the viewers watched Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal come together for another Hera Pheri movie. The film franchise began in 2000, and its sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, came out in 2006. The three stars are now coming together for Hera Pheri 3, helmed by Farhad Samji.
