What is Ripley about?
The series has a total of 8 episodes. The show begins in the year 1961 in New York where a rich shipbuilder Herbert Greenleaf meets con man Tom Ripley. He is misunderstood as a friend of his spoilt homeless son Dickie but ends up hiring him for an important task. Tom must leave for Italy to bring back Dickie home who has spent all his years mostly writing and painting.
Tom finally meets Dickie and his girlfriend Marge but there is a twist in the tale. The con man finds himself influenced by Dickie kickstarting a rollercoaster journey. The star cast features Andrew Scott, Dakota Fanning, Eliot Summer, Margherita Buy, and Maurizio Lombardi in key roles.
