What is The Princess Bride about?
The movie takes viewers into the enchanting world of fantasy, where love blossoms. Buttercup, a young woman, lives on a farm in the fictional kingdom of Florin. Buttercup and Westley are an unbeatable pair of best friends. However, certain unforeseen events resulted in Westley’s disappearance. Time flies, and five years later, Buttercup is forced to marry Florin’s Prince, Humperdinck. However, just before the marriage, Buttercup is kidnapped by three miscreants. This one incident triggers a sequence of fatal mishaps that turn Buttercup and Westley’s lives into a dangerous adventure with enemies, challenging situations, and death following them at each step.
